As a documentary, I tend to watch them and be skeptical of the political agenda and motives of the film maker and what they would like to see This documentary is like a breath of fresh air. I primary watch war/battle documentaries and the amount of care in this film to show both sides true agenda (The MRAs and 3 wave Feminists) should be a Pulitzer prize winning film for its investigative journalism. Cassie Jaye moved to Hollywood in the dreams of becoming an actress but everywhere she turned she was shut out "Call me after you get a boob job" "If you just were 2 dress sizes smaller, you would be perfect". That is the true Hollywood for you, a bunch of sexist feminists that cheer when they hear about equality but shun and boo you for speaking the wrong opinions. Cassie Jaye: A true feminist breakdown on why do we hate other peoples ideas and opinions and try to silence them instead of engage in open dialogue. Cassie, you are a hero of mine and fight for true equality, not spew some gender studies BS about there are no such thinks as biological differences between sexes. It's why LA is stacked with actors/actresses are the biggest bunch of leftie hypocrites. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting Seattle to San Diego but I got to witness a Trump group that was predominately minorities get harassed on a college campus, the Trump/Pence signs that they were holding were ripped from their hands and were beaten with it. The protesters being called "Uncle toms, Hispanics for trump were spit on and called racial slurs.. etc. This is why I don't call myself a liberal anymore. Cassie's "journey into the rabbit hole" explores the reason why there is such a divide between Americans such as MRAs and people that describe themselves as feminists. In fact, she unlocks the door that one feminist describes "feminism means equality for all". This is a tactic that was used for politburo heads of the soviet union and it really means "Some people are more equal than others" when is comes to oppression. The film really shows the violent and absurd tactics used by leftits, not liberal, organizations on college campuses the spews out into the real world with family courts, fathers have no say whether or not the baby is born, and gives a collage of father victims of the family courts. Males attain custody 20% of the time, that's 1 in 5 of fathers being fathers. Feminism has been masked as equality for women at the expense of inequality for men. "My body, my choice" was a chant that Linda Sausour used in the woman's march. You know the feminists that changed their Facebook picture to represent her wearing a US flag burka? The one that tweeted that "Bridget Gabriel = Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Shes asking for an a$$ whoopin'. I wish I could take their vaginas away - they dont deserve to be women. and deleted it a few days later when Ayaan was a victim of genitalia mutilation because of sharia law. Feminist praise her even now, for speaking her mind about Israeli propaganda. Most 1st wave feminists that went through the 20's - late 40's would be shocked to see what has become of their movement. Most 2nd Wave feminists don't associate with feminism anymore like Christina Hoff Sommers who earned a BA in NYU and PhD in philosophy from Brandeis. Unlike 3rd wave feminists, she refutes the data by the department of labor as a propaganda tool that the previous 2 administrations used that doesn't take careers, part-time vs full-time choices and motherhood and the data is therefore tainted from the beginning and that men are the majority of the labor market, are 93% of work related deaths, are 3 times more likely to abuse substances, and 75% of suicides. If there was a re-enabling of the draft, why does it only apply to men, which Clinton brushed off the question with the debate with Bernie. The question left unanswered in this film is, in my opinion, the most important one. We know that Antifa, BAMN, certain characters of BLM are violent. Why do feminists of today ally with those people? To radicalize themselves? The LGBTQ community used to be a peaceful march in the early 80-the mid 90's. What Changed? Being liberal anymore is not enough. The party is splitting for the democrats. There are the non violent groups(Liberals) and the violent groups (Leftists). I believe the whole notion that if you support trump automatically means you are a racist is radical thinking. There have been Nazi marches through SC, Virginia, Louisiana for years. The poliece usally provide a barricades of police and metal. It usually goes off with a few arrests on the protesters side taking offence when they simple should use the phrase "Sticks and Stones" but in Chancellorsville, where were the police when there were people being bear maced 10 feet away? They were told to stand down by whom? The politics of the ultra left did this by doing nothing. They got blood on their hands at the expense of a protester. Let me ask you this, Did Jake Tapper admit that the majority of journalists and cameramen were maced by the 'peaceful protesters' and they came armed to the teeth with nightsticks, bear mace, homemade pepper bombs? At least he told the truth this time on CNN for once than MSNBC/FOX/NBC/ABC/CBS. Field reporters were getting pummeled and some reporter said the NAZI protesters were throwing bottles while it cut out to a shot where the Nazis were the victims the bottles were thrown at. I believe in the 1st amendment, But the press are extending their bounds by lying to the people. Yes, I'm Jewish and I hate what they did to my ancestors.... but the identity politics and your either pro nazi or antifascist leftist talk needs to stop. On a more personal note, This film touched my heart in ways I cannot express. a friend of mine girlfriend split up with him when she became pregnant. They only dated 3 months and the decision was made from her that she was to have an abortion. He highly protested and said he would care for the child after the birth and said he would not seek child support. A few weeks later she said she ended up terminating the pregnancy and we went out going out for drinks later that night to cheer him up. Fast Forward 3 years later, He met a woman, fell in love, and married her. One night I get a summons for him to appear in court, I don't know what about, and I gave the court officer his new address. One hour later I heard a banging at the door and it was my friend and his wife. The woman whom she previously was with was suing for child support (The one she claimed terminated the baby). They were devastated, I was called as a witness for the defense and she pulled every claim in the book. I just so happened to have his old mobile at my apartment, thankfully it worked, and it loaded the last 500 messages that she sent him, including that she terminated the baby. Then she filed a restraining order for the both of us, we did not know where she lived but she knew our favorite bar which happened to be along the way of her apartment where she was living where we were walking to the bar and she snapped video of the two of us walking to the bar/restaurant. The judge actually signed off on it like we were stalking her. Then she played her aces all at once. She went after the both of us for raping her and beating her, She did not have proof of the incidents because she was "too afraid" of what we will do to her. He immediately demanded DNA tests to be conducted on me because of DNA tests not coming back from my friend yet. I then asked for council. My friend asked for full custody of him, being he had a job as she had none. As It so happens, My dad mentioned to his coworker how I was involved with a child custody/support case and the predicament we were both in. He was chit chating away when he made the case that a Daughter of his was in and out of drug rehab and lived with her parents at their apartment. She would constantly make up stories of how the day went in family court and she came face to face with 2 men that raped her. Her parents did not believe a word of it and saw it as a tactic of getting income to buy drugs while her parents were home taking care of the baby. They then put 2 and 2 together, Her mom, Dad and my dad showed up to the next hearing around 5 minutes later to catch her off balance. Her dad demanded that she take a drug test in front of the judge. She refused even when to judge ordered her. Her parents told the whole story to the judge, and she was deemed unfit and her real father won parental rights and her grandparents won visitation rights. She was then sent to jail for 4 months, pleaded guilty on fraud charges and lying under oath, and ordered to pay the sum of £22,000 Male privilege, my ass. Michael Moore is seen as the hero for the radical left. For instance, bowling for columbine where he went around with survivors as human shields and stood on the graves of those who died in that tragedy and did not pose the right questions. Where his approach is ban all guns as an undertone to the movie, he did not take account why and how could this have happened while he strongly addressed the point that guns were used and painted firearms were the culprits of the entire thing. He also did this to an extent in Fahrenheit 9/11 which he explained that the invasion if Iraq was for big oil and he did not mention the fact that Iraq oil from Iraq was primarily imported to China, Indonesia, and Africa but asserted that the US benefited from the oil as an import and he neglected that the primary contracts were given to Aramco (Saudi) and they built the infrastructure with Haliburton. If you know how the corporation Haliburton works, it's not an acquisition company, meaning, they are not paid per price of the oil... just drilling equipment, contracts, and monitoring/drilling/steering/accounting software. Sicko is where I drew the line on insanity versus reality. The politicization of US healthcare started in the late 80's as the baby boomers were aging and that is where all of his 'documentaries' cross the line of becoming a skewed reality manifesto for millennials, that corporations drive big government, and the only solution is a bigger government that police the corporations, the amendments of rights can be overridden by the judicial bench of the supreme court as a 'living,breathing document and applies to the interpretations of the 2010's, not take in account when the amendments were written and to what purpose they were written about at the time of the states conventions". The millennials are possibly the most destructive generation in which all matters are handled federally without states rights consideration. The FDA, EPA, DEA, NSA, FBI, HUD, HHS, SSA, VA, CIA, IRS, FEMA, DoE..etc. They are all appointed for the directors, meaning, that they don't represent us. The invoke taxes and regulations on businesses. Some would say "The EPA is an entity to protect the environment by imposing fines and regulations that ensure the safety of us and the environment". I would say to that "What about the corporations that are given grants, virtually no taxes, and steal from honest working people: SOLYNDRA" The ATF was without a leader for years for giving the cartels guns, and a prominent Asian democrat state politician that was for total gun control was caught in a sting operation by selling Asian gangs guns. In short, Michael Moore did a blog on him claiming he was a hero for gun control that was promptly deleted.
